I used MapCompare to compare my cache finds with a geocaching friend in Ballarat, Australia. I applied the cache location filter Australia > Victoria > Ballarat. Despite this filter, two puzzle caches are plotted in overseas locations meaning that it's impossible to see the Ballarat area that I'm interested in without zooming multiple times. I've solved one of these puzzle caches so I know that the MapCompare location for this cache matches with the coordinates required for success in GeoCheck.org. However these coordinates are neither the posted nor the final (corrected) coordinates for this cache. The coordinates for GZ are actually hidden in the GeoCheck.org success message. Is there a way to ensure that these caches are plotted on the map using either the posted or corrected coordinates - i.e. in Ballarat, Australia and not on the opposite side of the world?

Actually I think I've found out the answer to my question on the solved mysteries page (http://project-gc.com/Profile/SolvedMysteries):

"Your solutions are gathered in two different ways. First off they are parsed from your cache notes. Secondly they can be found from corrected coordinates on Mystery Caches and Multi-caches."

I wrote the coordinates required for GeoCheck.org in my cache notes.  It looks like Project Geocaching is parsing these from the cache page and giving them preference over everything else. I'll remove them from my cache notes.

Project-gc takes the first coordinates from you cache notes as corrected coordinate.
If they are not the reel coordinates add som char between latitude and longitude for example -- and then will they not be interpenetrated as coordinates.
Or add the correct coordinates first in the personal cache note.
Use support/self support/refresh cache notes to update them

PGC cant auto detect all corrected coordinates if only set as gc.com corrected coordinates. There is no way to download them without refresh each cache. All cache notes can be downloaded in a single api call.
It is a good idea to both change the coordinates on the gc.com way and add them to the cache note if you use pgc. And you can do that on all cache types

If you add caches the a vgp and build a gpx and ask for "Refresh corrected coordinates" pgc will download all caches individiually
