In my profile stats (for 2017-03-22), I have the following in my "Most consecutive days with finds" and "Last 365 days":
First I thought that there was an error in the "Last 365 days" stat. It is however technically correct that I have only cached 364 out of 365 days if you include the current date (2017-03-22) in your count. I would argue, however, is that it is next to impossible to have that statistic hit the full 100%. The statistics for 2017-03-22 are generated at night in the early hours of 2017-03-22. If I was to have a 100% rating, I would either have to
- Live (or stay) several time zones east of the servers' location to get a head start on the day before the stats are generated.
- Log a cache before it is found (which I would consider cheating).
- Find a cache immediately after midnight and log it immediately after and hope that I made it in time before the stats are generated.
My point is that the current implementation is somewhere between misleading and unhelpful. It would be way more helpful if it actually calculated the "Last 365 days" based on the last 365 days and not the current 365 days. The last 365 days should be yesterday and the 364 days that came before that. The same goes for the "Last 365 days averages" stats.
I am tagging this as a feature request as this is technically not a bug - just somewhat unhelpful in its current implementation.
