Background Job notifies with double mail

Question

Since some time, at least yesterday but I guess it's a longer period,

when I issuing a background job for creating a gpx with selection 'send an email when done', I get two mails on job readiness.

In some days this issue will celebrate its  first birthday, but there are some days left to find the cause :-)

We noticed that sometimes, too. In consequence we uncheck 'send an email when done'.

... and that results then in not getting any notification or getting only one?

I set this flag, when I have interest in that notice because PGC is telling a job runtime of several hours

That would be not a workaround, but it might help to get the issue nearer.
Then my classificationas  minor bug fits.
