When will more country map data be added?

I have 11 country badges in my BadgeGen stats that have 'not sufficient map data' to 'attain a quality badge'. Is there any news on when these will be added/updated?

Besides, there is even one country that has no flag added to it (Vanuatu), so that leaves me with an empty grey badge. I haven't seen any other country badge before that has no flag, is this also waiting to be added or just a bug?
