The site is missing the tag

<meta name="viewport" content="user-scalable=0, width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0">

in the header area. Chrome Mobile just resizes the desktop CSS layout and so does responsivity emulator in both desktop Chrome and Firefox.

If you ask me, the site works almost perfect with a modern smartphone web browser like Google Chrome. However, when adding that meta-tag, it's close to unusable instead.

Redesigning the web for better mobile compatibility like that would be an enormous task.

In my opinion this website is mainly for work on PC (prepare before geocaching trip etc.) but I see some features that would be useful on mobile devices too but in that case could be better way prepare some app to Play Store that can use data stored on PGC servers by other way (e.g. checkers, live map)
