how do I search for birthday caches

Is there a way to search for birthday caches in any given month, preferably with the option of searching only particular areas?

I think it's a reference to finding caches on the birthday of when they were placed.

The only way I can think of, which will have some extra caches and won't give all caches, would be to use the Hidden Date tool. If you're a paying member of PGC, you can use the Loop filter to give you caches to fill a loop later than the first. In the table below the map you can find ones whose birthday is coming up in the near future.

Yes - we have done this fairly recently as a caching friend needed to find a cache which had been hidden on a particular date in December, and to find potential caches in the area we were visiting, we used this method:

(i) choose the map compare tool from Tools

(ii) enter your profile name, and country, region and even county you need to search

(iii) set none found

(iv) add the filter from/to hidden date, and set the dates you want

(v) run filter, and it should come up with a map with caches you need.

e.g. This link is for caches hidden on 1/1/15 which we haven't found in Eastern England

Thanks for the speedy response, that looks as though it will do what I am looking for. I was hoping there would be a way to find all caches in my chosen area which were hidden in, for example,5th  January of any year,  but I can live with having to look for 5th January 2003, 5th January 2004, 5th January 2005 etc.
It will help with searching for specific caches for some Anniversary challenges in my area.

Indeed, that's what we had to do, but it was fairly quick, and we found several caches for the date we needed and our friend was able to fulfil part of their challenge.

I also have searched for a convenient way to search for Birthday Caches, but have not found any way to do a search as 01/01/XXXX irrespective of year,
Meaning I have to run it 17 times for every year of caching.
