I tried to save the link to my profilestatistics as a link on the Homescreen on my iPhone running the latest iOS. But everytime i open the statisitcs page via this link i have to authenticate myself. Open the site regularly in safari, no authentication is needed. Is there a setting to be done or any other chance to use the homescreenlink?

There are two different methods of getting to your own profile stats:

https://project-gc.com/Profile/ProfileStats will give the stats of the user logged in, so will require authentication.

https://project-gc.com/ProfileStats/theo100 will give your stats, regardless of who's logged in.

If you're able to see your stats in Safari without authentication, I'd guess you're using the second link.

Alternatively, you may have a cookie issue, where Safari on your computer is storing the cookie for your authentication but on iOS it isn't.

So the second link works for now, but with a still curious behavior. Clicking the First link will open my statistics as well, cause im authenticatet on my iphone. Saving this link to the homescreen and Clicking on it will give me project gc site which says i have to authenticate. Clicking the second link gives me my statistics same as above. But saving this link to the homescreen and clicking on it, gives me the statistics for me, but with an authenticate button in the headmenu. Clicking on an link, e.g to the d/t matrix tool will open a new safari window with the page where the header says autheticatet for theo100.

This workaround is usefull for my case, but still curious. Maybe Safari on ios don‘t save cookies for webpages saved as links on the homescreen.
