I want to locate caches that I have not found that have certain attribute(s). I've created the appropriate filter. Now how do I apply it? Most of the answers I've found say to use Map Compare, but that doesn't make any sense - I am looking for caches that I have NOT found. I can see no way to apply the filter to the live map. Help?

Map Compare is still a good choice. There are checkboxes to select whether you want to show caches you have found, caches you have not found or both. Note that it's perfectly possible to use Map Compare without selecting a second person to compare with.
