In all lists that can have multiple items selected, but especially in VGPS lists, I would like the standard set of extended multi-select options (preferably implemeted with the standard keyboard commands):
Shift-home: select to start of list
Shift-end: select to end of list
shift-click: select to second item
Although admitibly I am using a logitech keyboard (for an android device) that does not have home and end buttons, so maybe also allow h and e when the list has focus.
