This is behaviour I've noticed this week. I've logged finds on gc.com and soon after my profile stats get updated. But I can only see the most up-to-date stats when I'm not logged into project-gc.com.

That is, if I go to https://project-gc.com/ProfileStats/bruzie while logged in, I see my old stats (2702 finds), but if I open that same link in a "private browsing/incognito mode" window (so that I'm not logged in), I see my updated stats (2710 finds).

I am a premium member, so I know my stats get updated once a day, but if my latest stats are available to anyone, then surely I should be able to see them while logged in?

As you have noticed (but not realized), there are two versions of your stats: the one you see (when logged in) and the one everyone else sees. The difference is small and as far as I know only relates to stats that have to do with your home coordinates (which are not available to others). This means that there are two stats pages to regenerate, and that doesn't necessarily happen at the same time.

Understood.

As a followup, why would my public stats get priority over my private stats when I've paid to become premium?
They don't, really. When a stats page has become 24 hours old it will be regenerated instead of just redisplayed the next time it is requested. Thus, the time when your stats will appear to be refreshed depend on when they were first checked in the previous version.
This is something I've noticed myself on occasions, though I thought it was a caching issue at my end (no pun intended!) Thanks for explaining.
