French Guiana not in South America?

Was looking at my South America map, and noticed that French Guiana isn't marked as being part of South America, whether you have found a cache there or not. It's gray instead of white/green.

Also, the flag used in the stats is similar to the French flag, whereas the flag used for the French Guiana badge is their own flag (I am aware that French Guiana is a French Overseas Territory). Furthermore, if French Guiana is the only country in South America in your stats, the South America map is not shown under 'Maps'
