Is route builder still down? Other problem?

Is the route builder (still) down? Or am I encountering an issue?

Been a while since I've tried to use it and was unsure if all the Google Maps madness had passed. I can get as far as filling out the details of a new route but after I click "Build Route" I get a popup saying, "Directions query failed: REQUEST_DENIED".

Using developer tools, I found this response from the Google Maps API:

Directions Service: This IP, site or mobile application is not authorized to use this API key. Request received from IP address 203.13.3.93, with referer: https://project-gc.com/User/RouteBuilder For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

I would imagine they are using Google's Directions API, which they are charging more for now. I would guess that they'll either need to use a new route builder or find a way to let folks input their own API key to continue to use this.

Using your own API key is against the terms of usage of the Google Maps.

I don't know exactly when it changed back (not right now), but the route builder is working.
