Would it be possible to allow users to define sub-groups for countries, to have a finer granulation or to tell certain regions apart? What I have in mind, for example, is to take the total find count for Italy and then define two subsets 'Italian islands' and 'Italian mainland' - the latter one would be empty for me, in this case. It would be ok to do the split manually but of course, if data allows, one could also think about a filter criterion (per county, per height, per latitude,...) Would this be reasonable?

I am a little bit surprised to get downvoted on this one. This feature may not be useful for everybody of course but I am not aware that I am asking something stupid, weird, or otherwise inappropriate. Am I?

The island/mainland divide would require a lot of manual labor to set up!

You can make your own (sort off) by using a custom filter and only adding the island counties.

You can already filter by county, but I do agree about the other two criteria.

Apologies when my example was too specific already. What would do is to be able to take the count for a certain country, manually define a name for a subset (say, Italian islands), manually define a count for that subset, probably do the same for a second subset, and to have the rest allocated to a third subset. This would have to be re-done by the user when finding further caches of course.
