For a challenge cache, I have to find a number of caches published on a certain date (not placed). Is there a way to do is?

in Support and help by Pihoqahiak (3.7k points)
The challenge is about a published day, year is irrelevant

Project-GC only has a filter for placed date, since not all caches have a published date.

Do you have an example please for a cache without publish date
All the very old ones, e.g. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCF0_scotlands-first?guid=8cc05584-3662-4aa9-9e2d-7eb5545dc18e: Scotland’s First (GCF0).
BTW, would anyone be aware of an easy way to scroll down to the first logs of a cache which has hundreds or thousands of logs?
Click on the "logbook" link and there are all the logs paginated so just click on the last page.
That will show me the first log for the cache. That is not necessarily on the same date as the cache was published. Check https://coord.info/GC2907 for a random example where it does not work.
That’s great, Jakuje, thanks a lot – exactly what I was looking for. So simple, and I never tried ...
@ pinkunicorn: yes, indeed, but that’s just what I wanted to say, i.e. that those old caches do not have a publish date (log), so the first log is simply the first logged find (or DNF). I don't think there is any way to know when those old caches were published. (Other than between the "hidden date" and the first log, be it a found or DNF.) Or is there?
Actually, the hider could set the placed date to anything previously. Definitely to way before geocaching was created. I think it was possible to set it in the future as well. If the cache doesn't have a publish log, you simply don't know the actualy publish date (though I *think* reviewers can see it).
