We recently noticed on our Finds Stats page that our ‘youngest cache found’ was flagged up as ---Hängendes Grün Olympia--- on 26 May 2019 which we actually found over 3 years ago on 18 April 2016! We noticed that this cache has recently been disabled, and just happens to have been re-enabled on 26 May 2019!

We presume that shortly a newer cache will take its place on our stats, but the screen shot above shows the anomaly.

Can this be rectified?

The statistics are based on data from Geocaching.com and the cache owner. The cache owner has changed the hidden date to a recent date, this is the date we use. There is no other date to use for this case. Faulty data in, faulty data out.

If anything, in our opinion, HQ should not allow their users to set a hidden date that's unrealistic.

This explains a lot! It was a surprise to see the cache from three years ago on the stats, but after your careful explanation, we can see why it happened. Thanks for your help which is much appreciated! We now have a much more sensible cache on the stats after attending an event yesterday!
