Why don't my adventure lab caches count in the Cache Owner badge? [closed]

The lab caches I've found are included in the Geocacher badge so why don't I get credit for the ALC:s I've created? It doesn't seem logical ...

It appears this was discussed as far back as 2016 in this thread:

Further research requires finding out why ALC's are still not included in the hide totals.
