Notifiers - old log changes

Question

I recently turned on the send notifiers feature - I happily receive the 'you have had a fav point added' one

However today I received 1 messages with three notifiers regarding cache log amendments - All three were regarding the same cache (an earthcache) one was dated 2019 and two of these were logs way back in 2013.

I do not believe that any of these were 'recently' updated especially the two 7 year old logs

So I am wondering why this notifier has come about like this

What is also odd is that all three of these notifications indicate that the 'cacher' has hidden their ID with the additional message as follows 

Content unavailable. This user has opted-out of sharing certain information with API Authorized Developers.

and yet I can see their profile and all the content when I click on the link ???

Is this a glitch

I think it's just giving you all the changes up to now in your first report, regardless of their age.

Wow - I which case I am impressed that it is only 3 :-)
Though I suspect there have been many more changes on all my caches over the years

Another scenario would be if someone left a note with the intention to turn it into a Found It such as with a challenge or puzzle cache.  Granted 7 years is a long time but it's not outside the realm of possibility.  

I will take a logged note, edit the original text with the original date, and then add new text above it once I've changed it to a Found It on both mystery and challenge caches.

I would have understood that if it were a challenge cache - but this is with regard to an Earthcache (sorry could have mentioned that)

OK now I understand why it would be strange.  I own 2 ECs and had someone post a Found It with over a year after the fact.  There was no information sent my way to answer the questions so, after reaching out, I determined they were arm chair logs.  I would definitely look up the profile on geocaching.com to investigate and even send a message.

These are not new logs - just amendments - this suggests the logs were done all that time ago and at some point an amendement made (I would suggest shortly after the original log was done) Had this been a late log I would have recieved this as a new log email and not from PGC.
This was an amendment notifier from PGC - just odd that this is probably 7 years after it occurred - I recently set up the notifier and was only expecting notifiers of amendments made after that point, not ones made 7 years ago.
I am happy with the original logs as I have always ensured logs tally with answers sent
