top favourites filter shows found only

Question

Am I doing this wrong? I cannot use the Top Favourites filter to get a list of caches with most favourites that we haven't found, despite ticking the "not found" box and leaving "found" unticked. The returned list appears to be found caches only, whatever boxes you tick. URL string is

The filter is called "Hide" (see the left of the checkboxes), so you need to check the other option "Found" to show caches that you did not find:

ok, I was doing it wrong, thank you! The confusion comes from "hide" meaning both "obscure/remove" and also being used as another name for a cache. That is my excuse anyway.

The logic behind it is clear -- by default, all caches are shown in the leaderboard and by clicking on either of the checkboxes, you hide one of the categories. It might be more clear if it would be called "Show" and the checkboxes would be checked by default. But then the filter name will be even more confusing in the filter list. UI is hard and something that is intuitive for one is not intuitive for others.

I think best would be to repeat the word "hide" also next to the checkboxes.

No you are not doing it wrong.  It is just a matter of understanding what you are doing when using the filters.  When you choose a filter you are toggling settings on or off.  In your case, you want to remove ('hide') something from showing in the list.  

It helps to know what the different bar colors mean:

1. Dark blue - Not found by you

2. Light blue (cyan) - Found by you

3. Black - Archived

4. Grey - Disabled
