When looking at the maps section of my Profile stats I get a map of Martinique there and the header says correctly that I (at the moment) have found 3/4 regions in Martinique. Under the map it cites the regions with correct numbers. However, the map itself is gray and the regions are neither coloured in in green / white nor are their borders displayed.

The same issue was raised in 2019 with reference to Guadeloupe: https://project-gc.com/qa/?qa=20414/bug-caribbean-countries-do-not-have-correct-coloring&show=20414#q20414 but as far as I can see there has never been an answer or a solution to that problem.

In the same context: is there a specific reason why there are no level 3 administrative units ("counties") defined for Martinique. It would be quite logical to use the municipalities ("communes") for this purpose as in similar cases elsewhere. Their boundaries are mapped in OSM, so there should not be any technical problem with this.

Would be great if this could be corrected. Thanks!

We are currently in the process of rewriting the entire map system, so there will be no fixes for specific problems like this until after that has been released (and hopefully they won't be relevant after that).

Perfect. Thanks a lot for this quick answer and the positive outlook. I am looking forward to that. (Would you be able to indicate any time horizon for this?)
It should be on the order of "soon". ;)
