Is there a way to filter the countries in 'Top #countries' by continent, so that you can see for example which cachers have found the most countries in Africa. Or is there any other way to check this?

You can probably do this with a Custom Filter if you have a paid membership at Project-GC. If you haven't used them yet the filter is built here: https://project-gc.com/User/CustomFilters

It would be a bit of manual work, you need to make one statement for each country, but you can add a bunch of statements to the filter. Then you use that filter in the "Top #countries"-list. It should work, I tested with four random countries and it worked, but I don't guarantee that the site will be happy if you add that many countries to the filter.

I'm not familiar with using the Custom Filter yet, but I'll give it a go. What statement did you use? Just 'country = X'?
Yes, exactly. "Country=X" as the statement, and then adding a statement like that once for each country you want to add. So for continents I would probably name the filter after the continent and then add all the countries to it. Takes some time to set up but once you've done that you can use these filters in many tools and statistics on the site so if you often look at "continent-stats" it's probably worth the time.
