I am aware that for the FTF tags to be searched for the FTF list the following log types are checked - 'Found it', 'Webcam taken' and 'Attended'

Since all events caches are not found as such but are attended - FTF is irrelevant to those cache types

Is it possible to have the log type 'Attended' taken out of the search for the FTF list - so just leaving 'Found it' and 'Webcam taken'

Thanks

Removing something that would potentially upset 4847 people just because you feel that they play the game the wrong way sounds like a stupid business decision to me and I doubt it will happen.

See it as a sign you can't trust their stats, just like with the people with fake-FTFs on the new locationless.

Yea - I knew that would be a response - though I have an opinion and am airing it. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen but may be a means to make people think and consider the concept of First to Find - you 'Attend' an event you don't 'find' it
I'm just a user, I don't make any decisions on behalf of Project-GC so I'm not saying it wont happen. I'm just saying I don't think it's a good idea.
Also - tbh I am not sure that that many would be that upset - most will know that FTF on an event is not a thing - many say they are only writing FTF in ther log as they 'won the right to do so in a raffle' - so they turn up half way through get a raffle ticket and win, so apparently allowed to log their attendance as the FTF.
Makes a complete mickey of the idea behind the concept of being the first in finding a cache.
I used the word "potentially" for a reason...
Compared to the number of people who have logged FTF on an event, it's a *much* bigger "problem" with large group FTFs on events, when all people in the group haven't even seen the cache they log FTF for.
