Cache Karma wrong: my finds include Lab caches but finds of my hides don't

I think the cache karma in Hide stats is wrong.

The find count I received on my caches doesn't include Lab caches, but my finds count does. This makes the number wrong. I understand that getting hidden Labs data is a problem, but then the sum of my finds shouldn't include them too.

This is something we'll have to think about, how we want this to be. The core issue is that Geocaching HQ haven't given us access to who owns which lab cache. Because of that there isn't a perfect solution.

Hi, thanks for Your answer. I suggest simply to take out Labs from number of my finds in karma calculation. Even if there was a way to find out Lab cache author and add it to my caches finds, there will be two reasons not to include them: First, You can create only one Lab series, but You can find unlimited amount of them. Second, the FP karma would be nonsense, because Labs cannot get FPs.

I noted this today and wondered the same thing
How can these two figures be related when one includes ALs and the other doesn't
I think that is the main point here
It makes no difference whether HQ allow access to AL data - simply ignore all AL stats for this feature. On the find stats page is states
Cacher has logged XXXX different caches including YYY lab caches
So why can't the karma stat simple use XXXX-YYY instead of the total XXXX
I apreciate with 99.9% of stats it wont affect that karma score much - but it will reflect two figures that are the same thing
