My Hidden by month tool is not working.  I keep getting an error that says "There are no caches that meet that search criteria.

I hope someone can help  I am going on a trip this weekend and need this tool.

Thank you!

My guess is that you are expecting the filters to do things they don’t. You can’t add for instance a type filter and expect it to allow you to complete a jasper with only that type. The page down not support that. What the filter does is to limit the suggestions you get to that cache type.

Hello Pinkunicorn,

Thank you for the reply, but I am not expecting or trying to add or do anything different.  I click on the Hidden Month tool until the Jasmer stats and then just fill in the required boxes.  Country, state, and the year month and day I was looking to fill the spot and no matter what time frame I put in even this month June 2024 I keep getting "No caches found with the selected criteria".  This just started happening this morning.
The "year month day" is not a required filter and I would recommend ignoring them if you're looking for jasmer-months. (Unless needed to make the result smaller so it shows on the map.)

And the current month is excluded from the tool so it shouldn't work. And you need loops to see months you've already logged.

The tool does not show the current month, which it says in the text above the tool. So you can't have had it show caches for June 2024 earlier this month. You've also logged all months in 2024 so if you want months from 2024 to show up you'll need to add a loop filter.

If the tool doesn't show any caches at all it's most likely that you've added filters that results in zero caches. For example a county or region that doesn't have any new combinations for your grid. Adding the filter for loops is likely a better test than trying to add the hidden date-filter. Either way I can get caches to show up for your username so I don't think anything is broken.

As far as I know, I have not added any filters and just filled in the drop down boxes.  Do you know how I can check the settings for this tool or at least get back to just filling in the boxes to look for caches?  Thank you.
The "drop down boxes" are called filters. But as an example if you only need months before 2007 and select a county were the oldest cache is from 2010 then that filtering results in zero caches because there are zero available caches for your jasmer-grid as you've already filled the months that are available in the county.
