I have a spreadsheet (row=month, column=day) for each year of geocaching with an 'x' marking the date of a basic event that I attended. This has been done with high attention to detail.

Then I have a summary that adds all the day/month cells for every day of the year. I am interested only about attending a basic event on a day, not how many. My total dates covered is 342; Project GC (from the events tab on my profile) says I have 350.

How can I discover what events Project GC is using for their stats? Please and thank you.

The events tab in your profile stats by default shows all events, not just those of the Event Cache type. If you click "Type: -" in the top right of that calendar box you can rotate through all different event types with multiple clicks. It sounds as if you want to compare with the table one click in.

Ahha. Thank you. I never noticed that before. However, there is still a difference of 2 - Project GC @ 340, me @ 342. The investigation continues, the plot thickens.
That table uses the event date. It used to be possible to log events on the wrong date so you may have a couple of stray dates because of that.
It was possible initially to log 'attended' on a date other than the attended date, but that stopped a few years ago; now the only date you can log 'attended' is the event date. With that in mind, I have reviewed every event I attended and changed the dates of any where I had logged on a different date.

Standby until I do a detailed review.
