If you search for challenge checkers in Belgium, there are over 100 results, therefore the program doesn't show all of them. However, a big part of this list is already archived, so they are not useful since the caches don't exist anymore. Is there a way to see the rest of the results and/or to remove archived challenges?

Which screen are you refering to - where are you doing the searching?

If you select Map of Challenge Caches then it will show a map of all of them, not just the top 100. There is also a filter available to allow you to exclude archived caches.

Generically on other search screens you can always add the 'show' filter which allows you to exclude disabled or archived caches.

If you go to Tools -> Challenge checkers -> then select Belgium for Country it gives the message 'WARNING The limit of 100 tags was found, there might be more tags matching, try to narrow your search'. There is however no possibility to check/uncheck any search options, only to insert a (part of) the name of the challenge
You are better placed if you select map of challenge caches instead as this will at least show you all the results (although not a list/way to add them to vGPS both of which would be nice).

You are right though, almost half the challenges tagged in Belgium are archived which is a bit peculiar!
The map is for paying members only though.
Ah in that case I think we definitely need paging support on the challenge checkers list screens (or just remove the limit, I'm fine with either). Presumably the limit isn't actually that important because the data is the same as that retrieved on the 'tag scripts' page - and some scripts now have 500 odd tags (and growing) without any apparent performance problems.
Im able to see the map, because of my 6-months membership I got for free, but I found the list easier to work with. Removing the limit would absolutely help, so that might be a good idea if it doesnt give too much of a problem
To say there is no performance problem on checker with a lot of tags in not correct.
If you compare my "Generic Number of caches checker" that has 1449 tags with checker with 1 the there is a significant load time difference
The time after the page start to reload after a tag is added is 17.5 and 3.7 second
s.
There is a 12 seconds delay on both scrips between pressing save and the data is saves and the page starts to reload

But a region and county filter like on the map would be useful on the checker list
I admit I'd only tested with 500 tags, though even on the checker you give I'm only getting about 8s load time - think it probably depends on the java script engine and  specs of the machine doing the work. I guess I'm also just looking at initial page load of all the tags - not after saving, I've been assuming the long delays there are to do with the saving, not the refreshing of the page.
Just a remark, when I could not close the scripts, at about 2000 tags it started to become a problem. The only script which is giving a delay at the moment is the Target script mentioned above.
