An excellent question. Yes, you can re-use the current script and "tag" it for your own challenge. I will try to explain how.
-
Go to http://project-gc.com/Tools/Challenges.
-
Search for the existing checker using the gccode (GC4EKKJ).
-
Click the "Show config" button.
-
Mark and copy the content that shows up, including the starting and ending { }.
-
Click the "Tag script" button.
-
Paste the copied config into the config field.
-
Write your new gccode in the GC-Code field.
-
In the comment field you can add a comment to describe the configuration if you feel that it's needed.
-
Click save. The page reloads after a few seconds. Your new tag shold now be first in the list of tags,
-
Now you can optionally use the "verify tag" button to check it vs the 10 latest who logged the cache, to see that the tag seems correct.
-
If things seems correct, you will want to enable the tag so that others can use it. Click the edit button.
-
Check the enabled checkbox.
-
Click Save
That is it. You can actually enable it already before step 9 and skip the rest if you want.
If you don't manage to fix it yourself, just post a comment on my answer and I will create the tag for you.
