Can someone create a checker for GC5QQYR?

All events are handled as "event", so you must have found all caches as described in listing and any type of event. It's right?

If not, I can modify the script.

You have not listed the webcam cache, do you want to count it as virtual or ignore it at all? For now the webcams are ignored at all.

I wonder about the wisdom to write new specific scripts when generic scripts exist that can be tagged to solve the problem.  It creates a proliferation of scripts, which makes it difficult to search through scripts to find proper scripts to tag for new challenges and increases maintenance effort, for little to no discernible benefit.

This challenge is a bit special, it was simpler to write new special checker than search for some existing checker and tag it. However, I've tried the your checker, as I have not fulfilled the challenge, there is no way to see what type in what month is already done.

That's because I explicitly tagged mine with "GiveAdvice": false".  Point is, it does not matter what you missed in the past, because you can't go back and add finds to previous months.  So all you need to know is how many you meet and how many you have to go.

Now it turns out we interpreted this challenge differently.  You script allows to accumulated finds for each month across several years.  My tag is for "8 different types in one month", repeat 12 times.  We have different interpretations.  I think we should ask the CO what the intent was and to clarify.

Fixed.  When I created the tag I made a typo and could not test it but now I tested and fixed the tag.
