The map by county tool is no longer showing an actual map of the UK overlaid with county borders, instead it's just an alphabetical list of counties in a table format. Can the map itself still be accessed? Thanks :)

Ps I am a paying member and no my membership hasn't expired - I checked that first!

What web browser and operating system are you using?
3rd gen iPad running iOS 8.1...

Thinking about it, I'm not sure I've used any of the visual mapping tools on GC since I updated it a couple of weeks ago...

I don't know which version 8.1 is since I don't use apple, but I assume it equals Yosemite.

We have started to get reports since yesterday  that safari in Yosemite doesn't work with our maps. Right now I can not do much more than recommend another browser, chrome for example. But I don't know if that is a choice on ipad.

We will of course investigate this, but I expect it to take at least one week, probably more.

UPDATE 2014-10-30 19:30 UTC:

A few hours ago we released a fix that we think should work. We have only tested it in one Safari this far though. It didn't work in that Safari before the fix, but worked afterwards.

We have also learned that it was more than Yosemite that was affected.

Ok, well thanks for having a look.

Not 100% sure iOS 8.1 is the same as Yosemite but it seems quite likely that the problem is somehow rooted in Safari...so at least I know it's not me doing it wrong! ;)

Good luck with the investigation, hope you find a fix.
A fix has been released. I have updated my answer.
Hi guys,

Thanks for the update - appreciate it.

Just checked the mapping tool but the fix hasn't worked for me, so iOS 8 remains broken. Sorry.
Yes sorry, we had to revert the fix. It broke something else, and we chose to prioritize the most common 3 browsers in this case. We will investigate it again and make a more proper fix. This attempt was more like a temporary fast-fix.

But it will take a few days. I am personally away this weekend, having lectures about Project-GC at a mega-event.
