Why are county boundary dates for Wales from 1974 but England ones are 2005 versions

Map section shows Wales as only having 8 counties (as defined in 1974) but the English section includes counties, unitary authorities, and other admin levels.. Surely some consistency is needed.

For most countries, we use map data from OpenStreetMap (I'm not sure whether this is so for the UK, but it probably is). Thus, if the data there isn't up to date then our data won't be either. We continously import newer map data as it is being produced.
