The numbers for "since 1 of January" and "whole year" are the same for the current year. which is correct, but this holds now also for the previous year which is in my understanding not correct. My understanding is that as of today (15.Feb. 2016) "since 1st of January" means for 2015 the time from Jan 1st to Feb 15th. Is my understanding correct?

I gather this is for the "Caches hidden in..." stats on a country stat page, since the other stats seem to have different numbers for the countries I checked. The numbers given suggest that the "Whole year" figure is being displayed in the "Since 1st of January" row.

In answer to your question, I would say your understanding of what the numbers should say is correct.

Yeah, you have understanding this aspect correct. This both numbers shall be same, if you have different numbers between both labels, then there is something false.

Could this please be a comment rather than an answer? Answers for bug reports should be along the lines of either "it's been fixed" or "you misinterpreted that there is a bug"
