Is there a checker that would work for this challenge?  If not, is it possible to make one for it? Or is there a suggestion of how I can check to see if I qualify with a different method.

I found your error in the CG code  this should read GC5BRMD

The checker is a three part solution, if one checker is ok the challenge map turns green and on the little stop & go sign. on the lefthand side of the checker, will turn green.

It not a nice solutions but is the best I can find for now

I forgot to comment when i read it but remembered today.
when you tag multiple checker with the same code some tag will be used for the automatic background and it might not always be the same.
The problem is that the result of the one used will be displayed on maps and you might get now passed when you have passed with another tag.
I have on ok and 2 not ok

Remove the gc code and add them in the description with a explanation.
multiple checkers can be linked from a cache and without the gccode in the tag so map icons will not be incorrect
I agree with you when more than one line is required but in this case there is only one line required so the checker will not give a false positive
Is a false negative better?
I would prefer a no icon than a false not ok
I just emailed that script writer and asked him to add another parameter to the script for this sort of challenge. I would fork his script and enhance it myself, but it's only a trivial change.
The script writer has added a fourth parameter "lines", which is used for total number of lines in any direction. You can now merge those three tags into one.

King-ton has adjusted his script and tagged this challenge with http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5BRMD/18741

The CG code you gave is for a traditional cache which is not a challenge cache.
