why am i seeing allow ads popup

I have been a paid member for years so why am i now seeing a popup on every page load asking me to disable my ad blocker or become a paid member?

I've already raised this at https://project-gc.com/qa/?qa=28749/ad-blocker-pop-up. I eventually persuaded adblock that this was an acceptable site, but it took quite a few attempts before it worked.

Flagging this question as answered (tell Adblock that ads are permitted on this site will suppress the ad blocker notice and the site will still not show ads).
