Talk:Access token

This is offered on the user preferences page. What access does it give? Does Project-GC have an API we can use this with? Is it for connecting to an app of some kind (does c:geo have a connection to P-GC with it, for example)? Thanks for any information on it. Technical 13 (2753096) (talk) 15:24, 30 March 2023 (CEST)

There are plans for a partner API. It was something that was worked on but got postponed for various reasons. Currently the only thing the access token is used for, that I can remember, is to unsubscribe newsletters. --magma1447 (3305483) (talk) 15:30, 30 March 2023 (CEST)

If/when it is finished and available, I'd love to add commands to the Discord bot I've been working on to access things more than just the StatBar/BadgeBar images and creating a link to ProfileStats page.
